Two pathways, the same standard

Two journeys, one shared vision

Before it was a name, Structure Transparence was first and foremost a story of a meeting and shared journeys.
Paul Ingremeau and Stéphane Verplancke met whilst working for a Bordeaux-based façade contractor operating nationwide. One in the design office, the other as a project manager, they worked side by side on complex projects, where technical precision, meticulous execution and the coordination of specialist skills shaped every decision. Very early on, moving beyond the strict confines of their roles, they extended this collaboration to more personal glass projects, driven by a shared commitment to detail and the integrity of the work.
From this shared experience, a realisation gradually took hold. The desire to set up their own business began to take shape, driven both by requests for specific projects and by a shared passion for exceptional glass structures. Structure Transparence thus emerged naturally, as the logical extension of two career paths that resonate with and complement one another.
Two areas of expertise, a shared language
Having obtained a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2002, Stéphane Verplancke began his career in an automotive design office before quickly moving into the construction sector. He joined a leading French façade company to work on the design of large glazed façades in the Paris region.

Stéphane VERPLANCKE

WIth a Master Degree in mechanical Engineer, Stéphane begins working at a design office in automobile industy. He quickly leans towards the building sector integrating a facade and glass French leader. His motivation and passion of glass architecture helps him being draughstman within the design office, works manager and account manager. Stéphane implements big glass facades laying on aluminium, still and wood structures. He is constantly dealing with architects and takes into account their desire as well as the technical and budgetary constraints. Since 2003, Stéphane has nurtured his skills and independant work. He supervises teams for the fabrication and installation of glasses, respecting the DTU and recommandations of the control offices. He is able to elaborate specific installations for large glasses.

Paul INGREMEAU

Paul is a Civil Engineer since July 2006. He has always been interested in conception and verification of glass and steel structures.
During nine years within the design office, Paul shares his technical knowledge with important French metal builders.
With solid knowledge in metalic framework, Paul integrates the Technical Boardof a prestigious company specialized in architectural glass works and façades. He worked with other engineers. It helped his greater knowledge of those two noble materials of construction – iron and glass. Paul has participated in prestigious projects in Bordeaux and major cities in France. He writes Atex which are validated by CTSB experts.
He created PI ENGINEERING, specialized in conception and verification of metal structures and glass works as well as glass facades. This company realized the metal structure study of the building 45ème Parallèle at Bordeaux Airport.
