Glass roof at Arcachon

STRUCTURE TRANSPARENCE created an insulated glass roof for a retired couple living near Pereire beach in Arcachon. This project was carried out in an existing house to bring light into the home all year round. We installed motorised interior blinds that can be adjusted individually or collectively using a touchscreen remote control. One of the four frames that make up the canopy can be opened to let in fresh air. The challenge of the project was the very complicated access for the forklift truck on a narrow ramp. Despite this constraint, it was positioned as close as possible to the house to install the canopy frames.
